Motorola will soon release the Android Pie update for Moto G6 Plus in India, according to the changelog posted on the company’s official website. The Moto G6 Plus was launched in India shortly after the Moto G6 and the G6 Play last September. All three Moto G6 phones were immediately available with Android Oreo, and now the Plus model appears to be the first Piezo update. The cake update will be released before the start of the Moto G7 line, which will be discussed in February.
The piezoelectric change register of the Moto G6 Plus was first discovered by a Reddit user. The update log, which is on the company’s official website, also mentions that it will bring the December android phone security patch. With the update, the Moto G6 Plus will receive features of Android Pie as adaptive battery, adaptive brightness, advanced mode without interference, redesigned screen layout, new user interface changes and new gestural navigation, just to name a few.
Motorola has not officially confirmed the launch of Android Pie for Moto G6 Plus. However, we assume that the change log is now on the site. The Moto G6 Plus will be the second phone after Motorola One Power’s One One smartphone to officially receive the cake update. Even the Moto X4 has been informed of the update of the cake, but the company has never officially announced it.
The Moto G6 Plus was introduced in India at a rather high price of Rs 22.499, considering that the phone offers a Snapdragon 630 chipset. The phone falls into a category that knows Poco F1, Nokia 8.1 and other more powerful smartphones. Motorola may soon launch Android Pie for the Moto G6, as it is one of the most popular Motorola 2018 phones launched in India at Rs 15,999.
